Position Overview:
As a Canvasser at ROAM Roof & Solar, you’ll play a vital role in generating leads and building relationships with potential clients. Your primary responsibility will be conducting outreach in storm-affected areas, introducing our company to homeowners, and scheduling appointments for our sales team. This position offers an opportunity for growth, with the potential to transition into a Roofing Specialist role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cold outreach through door knocking and calling on listings in storm-affected areas.
• Introduce ROAM Roof & Solar to potential clients, emphasizing our services and benefits.
• Network with affiliates such as realtors, insurance agents, and solar salesmen to generate referrals.
• Generate at least 5 appointments per week for the sales team.
• Capture detailed notes and customer information to facilitate a seamless handoff to the sales team.
• Adhere to company guidelines and expectations to ensure organization and efficiency in your role.
  

Compensation:

• Hourly pay with bonuses based on number of appointments generated and projects won..
• Performance evaluation every 2 weeks with the potential to transition to a Roofing Specialist role.

Qualifications:

• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Previous experience in door-to-door is preferable, especially in the roofing, solar or other service based industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• To be considered for advancement to Roofing Specialist:
      •    Must be able to lift and set up a ladder.
      •    Must be willing and able to walk on uneven/unlevel surfaces such as a roof.
      •   Must demonstrate a willingness and eagerness to take on more responsibility within the company.

• Performance based pay.

Schedule:

• Full-time position, Monday to Saturday.
• Flexible schedule with time allocated for cold outreach, warm outreach, and appointment scheduling.
