Position Overview:
As a Roofing Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in driving sales and representing our company to prospective clients. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, conducting roof inspections, estimating project costs, and closing deals with a focus on exceeding sales quotas and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cold outreach through door knocking, calling storm-affected areas, and networking with affiliates.
- Utilize warm outreach strategies to generate leads from past clients, referrals, and personal networks.
- Manage customer relationships, address concerns promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Conduct roof inspections, evaluate storm damage, and advise homeowners on necessary repairs or replacements.
- Provide accurate estimates for roofing and solar projects, ensuring profitability and meeting company guidelines.
- Close sales by demonstrating value, addressing objections, and effectively negotiating terms.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift and set up a ladder.
- Must be comfortable with heights and able to walk on uneven/unlevel surfaces like roofs.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience in sales is preferable, especially in the roofing or other service based industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective clients.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, insurance claims, and storm damage assessment preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
