At ROAM Roof & Solar, we believe a company should be more than just a service provider. We believe it should be a neighbor, a supporter, and an active part of the community it serves.
That’s why our team spends a lot of time outside the office and job sites — supporting local charities, sponsoring community events, and partnering with organizations that make Temple, Belton, Killeen, and the surrounding Central Texas area a great place to live.

ROAM Roof & Solar in the Community: Central Texas BBQ Roundup
ROAM is the Official Hydration Sponsor for the 1st Annual CTBR
ROAM will be set up on-site handing out free ice-cold water throughout the day to help everyone stay cool and hydrated. Come find us at the ROAM Tent located next to entrance #2 (in between the BBQ Area and the Car Show).
Shaping up to be one of the biggest community events of the spring, the Central Texas BBQ Roundup (CTBR) is bringing in over 100 of the top BBQ Competitors from across the nation, and it’s happening right here in Belton, TX. The State of Texas even passed a resolution naming this event the State’s official celebration of the history of BBQ.

The Central Texas BBQ Roundup brings together local businesses, award winning pit-masters, musicians, and families for a full day of fun that includes:
- BBQ competition
- Live music and entertainment
- Classic car show
- Dog show
- Petting zoo
- Kid fish
- Family activities
- Vendors from across Central Texas
Even better, all proceeds go to local charities, making this event an incredible opportunity for the community to come together and give back.

Supporting Veterans & First Responders:
ROAM is the Hydration Sponsor for the upcoming Rucks on Main Ruck March
ROAM will be set up on-site handing out free ice-cold water throughout the day to help everyone stay cool and hydrated. Come find us at the ROAM Tent which will be located near the Start/Finish Line.
Rucks on Main, a Central Texas nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families is another organization we are proud to support. Our founder, John O’Brien, serves on the board of Rucks on Main, and the ROAM team participates in the organization’s ruck marches twice a year.
For those unfamiliar, a ruck march is when participants walk several miles carrying weighted backpacks — a tradition rooted in military training. The event is designed to bring the community together while honoring the service and sacrifice of those who have served.
The atmosphere is powerful. Veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and civilians all come together to walk side-by-side through downtown Temple in a show of unity and support.
These events raise funds that help provide assistance and resources for local veterans and first responders in need.
Participating in Rucks on Main reminds us of something important:
Strong communities are built when people show up for one another.
